Terms of Service

The rules for using Tripio, written plainly.

1. The service

   Tripio lets you keep a personal map of the world, organise trips (stops, flights, hotels, documents, photos, expenses) and share them with friends. The AI assistant suggests trips, stops and indicative budgets: they are automatically generated suggestions, to be checked before booking. Some features depend on external services and may change or be temporarily unavailable.

2. Your account

   You must be at least 14 to use Tripio. Keep your credentials safe: you're responsible for what happens with your account. One account per person.

3. Your content

   Trips, documents and photos remain yours. You allow us only to store them and show them to you and to the people you choose to share a trip with. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use.

4. Shared trips and split expenses

   Anyone who joins a trip with your invite code can see and edit it. Balances between friends are a calculation to help you settle up: Tripio doesn't handle payments and no money passes through the app.

5. Flights, maps and places

   Flight times and status, maps, routes and place information come from third parties and may be incomplete or out of date. Always check with the airline or official sources. When navigating, follow road signs and the highway code: your safety comes first.

6. Prices and bookings

   Prices shown are up to date at the time of the search and aren't guaranteed until the booking is completed with the partner. Bookings are contracts between you and the partner, under their terms.

7. Fair use

   Don't use Tripio for illegal purposes, don't try to access other people's data, overload the service or copy its data automatically.

8. Availability and liability

   We work to keep Tripio available and your data safe, but the service is provided as is. Within the limits allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect damages such as a missed flight caused by third-party data. Your rights as a consumer are not affected.

9. Closing your account

   You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend accounts that seriously violate these terms, after informing you where possible.

10. Changes and applicable law

    We'll tell you in the app about significant changes before they apply. These terms are governed by Italian law; if you're a consumer, the court of your place of residence has jurisdiction.

11. Plus and Pro subscriptions

    Plus and Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions. You pay on the Tripio website with Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal) or, where offered, through the App Store. Price, period and taxes are those shown before payment; the subscription renews each period until you cancel it. One paid on the website is managed or cancelled from Profile › Plan and subscription (Stripe portal) and stays active until the end of the period already paid. Deleting your Tripio account cancels a website subscription immediately, with no further charges; one bought from the App Store must be cancelled in Apple's settings, and Apple handles its refunds. AI features have the monthly limits shown in the plan and proposals are suggestions to be checked.
